Ekamra Walks to Host Literary and Film Events This Sunday

Bhubaneswar: Ekamra Walks is set to organise two cultural events this Sunday, highlighting the richness of Odisha’s literary and cinematic traditions. The Odia Literary Trail will begin at 11:30 am, followed by the Odia Film Panorama at Kala Bhoomi at 5:30 pm.
The Odia Literary Trail will feature an interactive storytelling session based on the Odia short story Swapnabhanga. The format is designed to allow participants to enjoy the narrative without any prior reading. The session will also include a performance of the traditional Dhap dance, a rhythmic art form rooted in the Kandha community and known for its powerful beats and cultural heritage.

In the evening, the Odia Film Panorama will screen Ahalya, a reflective interpretation of the mythological character, exploring themes of silence, resilience, and the unseen emotional burdens carried by women. Director Bijoy Ketan Mishra will interact with the audience on December 14 ahead of the screening.
Ekamra Walks has announced that seats are limited, and interested participants can book through the official website: ekamra-walks.com.
