Education is panacea for all sorts of problems: Swiss Ambassador

Surjit Kumar Dhal, BHUBANESWAR, JULY 23: “Education is the panacea for all sorts of problems,” said Switzerland Ambassador to India Andreas Baum, while addressing the students of city-based Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) here on Monday.

“If you get proper education, you will certainly achieve peace, prosperity and success in life. Hence, grasp right education. Never imitate others; rather lay top priority on your creativity apart from being gentle, humble and disciplined,” Baum advised the 27000-odd students of KISS.

Member of Swiss Parliament Niklaus Samuel Gugger, who accompanied the Swiss Ambassador to KIIT and KISS, urged the students to follow KIIT and KISS founder Achyuta Samanta as their role model to achieve success in life. “He has been championing the cause of the downtrodden people for the last 28 years by means of education,” he added.

Earlier welcoming the dignitaries to KISS, Samanta said, the students of KISS are extremely delighted on the visit of the Ambassador and Member of Parliament of Switzerland.
