Eco Retreat Odisha 2025–26 Launched Across Six Scenic Destinations

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida has launched the Eco Retreat Odisha 2025–26 during the Odisha Parab event in Bengaluru, announcing six picturesque destinations selected for this year’s edition. The locations include Satkosia, Bhitarkanika, Daringbadi, Hirakud, Putsil, and Sonapur, each known for its unique natural charm and tourism potential.
The Eco Retreat aims to offer visitors a premium, eco-friendly travel experience through luxury glamping facilities set amid serene landscapes. This year’s retreat highlights include high-end tent accommodations, scenic nature views, rich cultural trails, and authentic Odia cuisine. The initiative also incorporates a wide range of activities such as water sports, adventure trails, and cultural immersion experiences with local communities.
According to tourism officials, the objective is to showcase Odisha’s ecological diversity—from the dramatic gorge of Satkosia to the pristine shores of Bhitarkanika—while promoting responsible tourism and generating livelihood opportunities for local residents. The state government hopes the Eco Retreat will continue boosting Odisha’s profile as a leading destination for sustainable travel.
Sharing the announcement on her X handle, Deputy CM Parida wrote that she was “delighted to inaugurate Eco Retreat Odisha 2025 at six scenic locations,” describing the event as a gateway to Odisha’s natural beauty, cultural richness, and unforgettable travel experiences. She encouraged visitors to explore the charm of each destination, adding that “every location tells a new story of beauty.”
