EC Announces Schedule for Phase 4 Polls

Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued the notification for the Phase IV elections in Odisha, scheduled to take place on June 1. This phase will witness voting across seven Lok Sabha seats and the Assembly constituencies falling under them.

On June 1, elections will be conducted in Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, and Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituencies. Polling will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. across all these constituencies.

Notably, the statutory notification for Phase III voting was released on April 29. Phase III will see elections in Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri, and Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seats, along with 42 Assembly seats under them, on May 25. Similarly, the statutory notification for Phase II voting was published on April 26. The second phase of voting in Odisha is scheduled for May 20.
