DMET postpones ANM exam hours before the test

Bhubaneswar: The Director of Medical Education and Training (DMET) in Odisha today postponed the Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) second year exam barely three hours before the test.
It is to be noted here that the 2nd Year ANM Paper-V- Midwifery exam was slated to be held today between 2 PM and 5 PM. However, the question paper allegedly got leaked and circulated on social media around 11 AM.
Taking a serious note of the alleged paper leak, Congress MLA CS Raazen Ekka from Rajgangpur drew the attention of the Assembly while the House was discussing the unemployment issue.
Later, the DMET issued a notification informing about the cancelation of the ANM Midwifery exam. “Due to unavoidable circumstances, the Annual Examination for the ANM course (2nd Year ANM Paper-V- Midwifery), which was scheduled to be held on 05.12.2025 (2 PM – 5 P M) is hereby postponed until further order. It is for kind notice of all students,” read the notification.
