Directive issued to withhold salary of all employees of Mahanga Block
Salipur: Directives have reportedly been issued to withhold salary of all the employees of Mahanga block in Cuttack district of Odisha. The Project Director of the District has issued the directive.
As per reports, holiday had been cancelled on Saturday, the 26th July, due to heavy rain, but no workers came to the block. Accordingly, the Project Director has written to the BDO to stop the salaries of the month of July of the employees.
On the other hand, it had been complained at the grievance cell of the Collector in Mahanga block that the biometric machine had gone out of order. Accordingly, the District Collector had written a letter to the Block to immediately fix the said machine, but the Block Workers did not respond to the letter. And thus the salary has been stopped. This has been mentioned in the concerned letter.
