Dilip Ray Offers Prayers at Jagannath Temple After Rajya Sabha Win

Puri: Newly elected Rajya Sabha MP Dilip Ray visited the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri on Tuesday to offer prayers to Lord Jagannath following his victory in the Rajya Sabha elections.

Speaking to mediapersons, Ray expressed his gratitude to the sibling deities for blessing him with strength, patience, and courage to serve the people of Odisha. He said he had been confident about his win and had started preparations nearly two months in advance, which eventually paid off.

Ray also extended his thanks to the MLAs who supported him, including those who cross-voted. He credited his victory to strong personal relationships, along with the goodwill and backing he received from several legislators.
