DIG CR Reviews Crime and Law & Order Situation in Jajpur

Jajpur: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Range (CR), Dr Satyajit Naik on Friday reviewed the prevailing crime scenario, law and order situation, and ongoing public safety initiatives in Jajpur district.

The review meeting was held at the District Police Office, where the DIG assessed the current crime status and progress in disposal of pending cases. He emphasised the need for proactive measures to further strengthen the overall security environment in the district.

During the meeting, Dr Naik laid special focus on maintaining law and order, enhancing crime prevention strategies, tackling property-related offences and cyber crimes, and improving overall police efficiency. He also stressed the importance of timely investigation and effective coordination among different units.

The DIG’s visit is expected to boost the morale of the district police personnel and reinforce the administration’s commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety in Jajpur.
