Dhenkanal: Truck Rams Into Bike, 1 Killed

Kamakhyanagar: One biker died after a truck rammed into his bike on National Highway 53 near Muktapasi square under Kamakhyanagar police limits in Dhenkanal district. The incident happened on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Biswajit Sahu, the son of Chitrasena Sahu of Gundichanali village.

According to information, Sahu was going to his sister’s house when a truck hit him from behind. The accident was so intense that he died on the spot. His bike was found on the road near his disfigured body.

The truck driver fled from the scene. Police reached the spot and seized the body and the bike. Following the accident, roads were blocked in protest and several vehicles were stranded.
