Dharmendra Pradhan meets Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi

Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has reportedly met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in Bhubaneswar. This meeting has been speculated as very important.
As per reports, today, an important meeting was held between Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at the official residence of the CM. Important issues such as education in the state, quality improvement, primary education, higher education etc. are being discussed in this meeting.
However, it has been speculated that the importance of this meeting is not limited to education only. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and State BJP President Manmohan Samal are among the top three leaders of Odisha.
According to political analysers today’s meeting carries importance from both political and administrative points of view. Mohan Majhi’s government has completed 14 months in the state. But in Bhubaneswar, there is little like today’s meeting between the two leaders.
Earlier, in August 2024, when the agreement was signed on PM Usha, a direct meeting was held between the two at the State Guest House on the birth anniversary of Utkal Keshari Harekrushna Mahatab.
In this context, today’s meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence holds political significance. Last July, the Chief Minister went to Raj Bhavan and paid a courtesy call on Governor.
A few days later, when the Governor visited Delhi, he went to the residence of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and paid a courtesy call on him. Today, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited the official residence of the Chief Minister.
This meeting is being said to be an important meeting amid topics like cabinet reshuffle, expansions, and corporate discussions in the state.
Apart from the discussions on the education system, today’s meeting is said to be crucial for the internal politics of the state BJP.
