DGP Abhay Suspends Kankadahad IIC

(Adarsh Rout) Bhubaneswar: The Director General of Police, Abhay today suspended the Inspector In-Charge of Kankadahad police station of Dhenkanal district Pramod Kumar Lenka with immediate effect for his gross misconduct and indiscipline.

During the suspension period, the IIC will remain under the disciplinary control of Inspector General, NCR, Talcher, said a release issued by the State Police Headquarters, Cuttack.

In a similar incident, Angul Police Station Sub Inspector Arakhita Sethy has been suspended by the Superintendent of Police for negligence in duty.
