Deogarh MLA granted conditional bail

Bhubaneswar, May 7(Reporters Today Bureau):  Deogarh MLA Subhash Chandra Panigrahi was on Saturday granted conditional bail by the local court in Deogarh.

The MLA was arrested for assaulting Tileiboni BDO Krushna Chandra Dalapati few days ago.

Notably, the BJP had demonstrated in front of SP offices across the State demanding withdrawal of false case against their party MLA from Deogarh Subash Panigrahi and action against Tileiboni BDO on Friday and submitted a memorandum to Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal protesting the arrest.

The BJP leaders had criticised the Naveen Patnaik government alleging ‘misuse of law and maintaining double standards.’
