Dense Fog Disrupts Life In Twin Cities

Bhubaneswar: Large part of Odisha, woke up to dense fog and chilling cold, with several districts including the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack reporting poor visbility and disruptions to daily life.

The isibility dropped drastically, hampering vehicular movement. Motorists were forced to drive with headlights on even at 8 am, as visibility was reduced to less than 100 meters.

Dense fog was also reported from several interior and tribal-dominated districts. Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, and Koraput witnessed thick fog across highways and internal roads, affecting travel for locals and visitors.

The flights have also been hit by the dense fog, several flights have been delayed, leaving passengers stranded.

The IMD has predicted no change in the weather till next week. People have been advised to stay warm and take necessary precautions to cope with the cold.
