Cuttack: Truck crushes elderly woman to death

Cuttack: In a tragic incident a 14-wheeler truck ran over an elderly woman in Cuttack district of Odisha on Friday. Accordingly, she was killed on the spot. The accident took place near Kakhadi Bazaar under Choudwar Block in Tangi area.

The deceased elderly woman has been identified as Malati Sahu.

As per reports, the speeding truck ran over the old woman when she was walking on the roadside. And accordingly, the elderly woman was killed on the spot only.

After the accident, the locals got agitated and vandalized the vehicle. They have blocked the road. By the time this article was written, the road blockade had not been lifted.

Also, by the time this report was written, the body of the elderly woman had not been recovered from under the truck.

As per reports, after getting information Choudwar police have reached the spot and started an investigation.
