Cuttack girl Supriya features in Bollywood film ‘Simmba’

Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba, which is making waves at the box office features an actor from Odisha. Once crowned Miss Odisha, Cuttack girl Supriya Roy has made her way into Bollywood by grabbing a role in it that hit the screens on November 28. She also went on to feature in Colgate and Airtel advertisements among many other brands. She was then asked to send her pictures by a casting director for selection in Rohit Shetty’s action-packed drama ‘Simmba’ and was soon cast in a role.

Supriya started featuring in several ads, including Colgate, Kalyan Jewellers, and Clinic Plus, until she met a casting director who called her for audition at Rohit Shetty’s studio. Fortune and her talent favoured her as Roy was selected among 125 others.
