CRPF jawan among 3 detainees in Pitabas Panda murder case

Bhubaneswar: Police received a big clue in the murder case of senior lawyer Pitabas Panda of Berhampur. As many as three people have been detained for questioning in this murder case.

A CRPF jawan is also present among the detainees. A six-membered team has been formed to catch the murderer. The police is examining CCTV footages from many places and are interrogating criminals. A criminal named Sunil is under the scanner of the police.

Meanwhile, the police suspect that this murder was committed in connection with the sand, gravel, moram and land business and settlement.

As the police investigation progresses, new information is coming to light. Now the police are adopting new tactics to catch the culprit.

At around 10 pm, when Kumar Purnima was standing near her Berhampur residence, Pitavas Panda was shot dead by two miscreants at point blank range. This has created a stir in Berhampur as well as Ganjam. But the question on everyone’s mind is who killed him and why.
