CP Respects Fourth Pillar of Democracy

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): November 5, was a grieved day for Odia news world. The renowned crime reporter of the state Prabir Pradhan breathed his last. He lost his life with battling with deadly Coronavirus.

He was a tremendous journalist worked with various organizations such as ETV Odia, ZEE Kalinga puts his sign in fare and impartial journalism. Pathetically his father, who was a police officer died before few months.

For the first time all the police officials including DGP and CP condoled the death of Prabir in their respective headquarters. The CP of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar, Mr. Sudhansu Sarangi paid tribute to the departed soul with a special gesture ever before. The condolence from a super cop to a news men is really shows his respect towards the fourth pillar of democracy. The young crime reporter and the recent anchor of News 18 Odia made his special place in the heart of the Citizen as well as the cops.

Pradhan, a senior crime reporter with the renowned news channel, passed away on November 5, 2020 at Aditya Aswini Covid Hospital in the State capital. He is survived by his wife and a minor daughter. The Reporters Today family condole his death. “We missed such type of true journalist”, The Editor of Reporters Today Surjit Dhal stated on his condolence message.
