College bus rams into Hyva in Jajpur

Jajpur Road: In a tragic accident, the driver of a private college bus died after it collided with a Hyva near Aupada chhak under the Korai police range in Jajpur district of Odisha. At least 15 others were also injured in the road mishap.

According to sources, a private college bus carrying students was going towards Jajpur Road when a Hyva coming in a wrong route rushed towards it. The bus lost control and coliided with the hyva. The driver of the bus died on the spot.

Out of the total injured people, two have been shifted to Cutback and another two have been trasferred to district main hospital for treatment. The remaining 11 injured students have been admitted to Tata hospital.

On being informed, the Korai and Panikoili police have reached the spot and are investigating.
