CM Thanks PM, Railway Minister for Regularising Bhanjpur–Puri Special Train

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving the regularisation of Train No. 08011/08012 Bhanjpur–Puri Special.

In a post on his X handle, the Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister for the decision, stating that it would significantly strengthen rail connectivity across the state.

The regularisation of the train is expected to benefit residents of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur districts by providing improved access to Bhubaneswar and Puri. The move is also likely to enhance mobility, promote tourism and contribute to regional development.

Calling it an important step, Majhi said the decision would further improve transportation infrastructure and ease travel for people in northern Odisha.
