CM Mohan Majhi Begins Two-Day Visit to Rourkela for Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to begin a two-day visit to Rourkela today to participate in the state-level celebration of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, marking the 150th birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda.

As per official reports, the Chief Minister will depart from Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar at 12:05 pm and land at Rourkela Airport at 1 pm. He will then proceed to May Fair Hockey Village for a brief rest.

Majhi is scheduled to attend the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas celebration at Sector-13 Parade Ground at 2 pm, where he will address the gathering. Later, at 4:30 pm, he will inaugurate the newly constructed Circuit House at Panposh.

In the evening, the Chief Minister will pay floral tributes to Birsa Munda at Birsa Munda Chowk at 5:40 pm, followed by his presence at the closing ceremony of the 4th National Eklabya Model Residential School Sports Meet at Birsa Munda Athletic Stadium.

The Chief Minister will stay overnight at Hotel May Fair and return to Bhubaneswar on Saturday at 10 am.
