CM Mohan Charan Majhi Extends Greetings on Odia Classical Language Day

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday extended warm greetings to Odia-speaking people on the occasion of Odia Classical Language Day.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of the Odia language as a symbol of pride and identity for the people of the state. He said the richness and beauty of the language make the Odia community unique and reflect its deep cultural heritage.

Majhi emphasised that the preservation and promotion of the language are crucial for safeguarding the traditions, culture, and heritage of Odisha. He also called upon people to come together to protect the distinctiveness and glory of the Odia language.

Urging collective efforts, the Chief Minister appealed to everyone to contribute towards the continued growth and prosperity of the language, underlining its importance in shaping the identity and cultural roots of Odia-speaking people.
