CM Majhi to Launch Groundbreaking of 27 Industrial Projects Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will lay the foundation stone for 27 major industrial projects in Odisha on Monday, September 15. The ceremony will be held at a special event at Krushi Sikhsha Sadan, OUAT, in Bhubaneswar tomorrow morning.

Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, in a social media post, informed that the projects will be spread across 12 districts, including Jharsuguda, Ganjam, Khurda, Koraput, Angul, Sundargarh, Bhadrak, Puri, Cuttack and Sambalpur.

The projects, with a cumulative investment of ₹25,379.34 crore, are expected to generate around 51,826 employment opportunities in the state.

Swain said the initiative marks a significant milestone in Odisha’s journey towards inclusive growth and economic transformation. “Odisha is ready to enter a new era of industrial growth and development,” he stated.
