CM Majhi Lays Foundation Stone of New Odisha Bhavan in Delhi

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi laid the foundation stone of the new Odisha Bhavan at Kautilya Marg in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, today.
The new Odisha Bhavan will be a seven-storey building with 45 rooms, suites, and a modern conference hall. Officials confirmed that the facility will serve as both a cultural and administrative centre for Odisha in the national capital.
The old Odisha Bhavan was demolished in 2025 after being declared unsafe. Since then, visiting leaders, ministers, and VIPs from Odisha had been accommodated at the Ashoka Hotel. The new building aims to provide a dedicated space for official and cultural activities.
Chief Minister Majhi announced that Odisha Bhavans will also be constructed in Ayodhya, Bengaluru, Surat, and another in Mumbai. Currently, Odisha Bhavans exist in Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai. The new facilities will strengthen Odisha’s presence across major cities and provide support to visitors from the state.
