CM Announces ₹4 Lakh Aid for OSRTC Manager’s Family

Sundargarh: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced an ex-gratia of ₹4 lakh for the family of Amresh Mohanty, the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) Sundargarh District Manager who died in a tragic road accident today.

Mohanty lost his life near Phaguapada under Sundargarh Sadar police limits after a speeding trailer truck hit him while he was crossing the road. He died on the spot due to the severe impact of the collision.

The CM’s assistance aims to support the bereaved family during this difficult time. Authorities have initiated a probe into the incident.
