Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): Pranab Prakash Das (Bobby), The name is enough. The most loyalist person for CM Naveen. When he was in the charge of Energy ministry, IT ministry and women & child development ministry, Bobby got top priority. He was doubtless the best performer in CM Naveen’s Cabinet.

Later, BJD chief directed Bobby to take up more responsibility to strengthen the party organization. And, Bobby hasn’t let Naveen sad. He ensured tremendous success for the ruling Biju Janata Dal at Bijepur by-poll. In 2019 general elections too, Bobby’s skills and strategies went through the litmus test. And, he came out stronger and more successful. It was Pranab Prakash who predicted before the election results that the Biju Janata Dal will get 105-112 seats.

After the result of 2019 election Bobby didn’t get any portfolio in govt but Pranab’s counsel is sought to induct ministers and decide their posts. It is believed that Naveen profusely consults Bobby for party’s structure and assigning responsibilities to the members in the government. According to common members of the party Bobby is the second ‘P’ after the personal secretary to CM. Bobby has been a quite operator, reclusive to media glare but has played his cards intelligently. He knows he enjoys the enormous trust of CM Naveen.

Now Naveen is directly calling Bobby and showering his instructions. Recently, the party chief is understood to have communicated to Bobby to ensure an outstanding win for the Biju Janata Dal at the ensuing polls at Patkura. Following the demise of Party candidate Ved Prakash Agarwal, the BJD has landed his wife Mrs. Savitri Agarwal. Naveen wants his party to trounce the nearest rival with huge difference.
