CISF Officer’s Alertness Helps Passenger Recover Smart Glasses at Bhubaneswar Airport

Bhubaneswar: What began as a moment of anxiety for a Delhi-based passenger at Biju Patnaik International Airport turned into a heartwarming instance of alertness and professionalism by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), drawing praise on social media.

The incident came to light after the passenger, identified as Shubhendu, shared his experience on social media platform X. He revealed that he had accidentally left behind his Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses during a routine security check while hurrying through the screening area around noon.

Unaware of the loss, the passenger proceeded towards his boarding gate. Just as boarding was about to begin, a CISF officer approached him and asked if he had misplaced a pair of sunglasses. The officer reportedly sought specific details about the item and, after Shubhendu correctly described the brown case containing the smart glasses, personally escorted him back to the security checkpoint.

The glasses were quickly located and returned to the passenger, preventing what could have been an expensive loss. Grateful for the timely help, Shubhendu praised the CISF personnel on social media, thanking them for their prompt action and attentive service. He also tagged the CISF Airport Sector in his post.
