CEO suspends 14 poll officials for dereliction of duty

Surjit Kumar Dhal Bhubaneswar, April 20: The Chief Electoral Officer has suspended 14 officials involved in six constituency where polling was held on Thursday for dereliction of duty.

      According to a release from CEO, these included seven Presiding Officers and as many Sector Officers.

      These officials were deployed in 9-Sundergarh (ST) constituency, 14-Bonai constituency, 4- Atabira constituency, 121-Daspalla constituency, 1- Padampur constituency and  3- Bargarh Assembly constituency.
