Cabinet Move to Boost MSMEs: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed the latest Cabinet decision aimed at strengthening India’s MSME sector, calling it an important step towards nurturing the country’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
Modi said the decision would help small and medium enterprises expand their businesses, adopt new technologies, increase production and explore international markets. He also said it would enable Indian firms to become more closely connected with global value chains.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the Cabinet’s approval to establish the Integrated Transport & Logistics Authority (ITLA). The proposed body will focus on better coordination, data-based planning and seamless integration of different modes of transport across the country.

Modi said the initiative is expected to improve India’s transport and logistics ecosystem and contribute significantly to the nation’s economic growth.
