Bullets seized from employee’s bag in Paradip

Paradip: In a shocking incident, bullets were recovered from a youth’s bag at a known refinery gate last night. The CISF seized the bullets from his bag.

According to information, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) seized bullets from the bag of a youth employed as a supervisor on contractual basis there. While he was entering the Gate 2 of the refinery during the search, the CISF jawans seized the bullet from his bag.

The youth has been identified as Debasish Dash. Following the seizure of the bullet, the Abhaychandpur police detained him and is interrogating him.

Since IOCL is a sensitive company, complete restrictions have been imposed on taking any items including mobiles, electronic devices inside it. The refinery has gas, petrol, diesel etc. inside, thus inflammable substances need to checked and either allowed or disallowed. But it is not clear why the bullet was found in his possession. However, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
