BSE Odisha reschedules NRTS Exam-2025

Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Tuesday reportedly rescheduled the National Rural Talent Scholarship (NRTS) examination-2025.

As per the earlier announcement of the BSE, Odisha, the NRTS exam-2025 was scheduled to be held on September 10, 2025 but it now has been rescheduled to be held on September 19, 2025 (Friday) from 10 AM to 12 PM.

The candidates can download their NRTS exam admit cards from the website: www.bseodisha.ac.in from September 10 onwards.

“In continuance to this Office Notification No.1063 (Trg. Confidential) dtd.16.07.2025. It is informed to all concerned that the conduct of NRTS Examination-2025 which is scheduled to be held on dt.10.09.2025 has been rescheduled to held on dt.19.09.2025 (Friday) from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM. The Admit Cards will be available for downloading from dt.10.09.2025 onwards in the website: www.bseodisha.ac.in,” read a notification issued by the BSE Odisha.

It is to be noted here that the BSE Odisha conducts the RTS Exam every year for Class IX students who have passed Class VIII. The candidates appear for 100 marks of exam that includes 25 marks each from Modern Indian Language (MIL), Mathematics, General Science, and Social Science based on the Class 8 syllabus.

Based on the students’ performance, the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha will declare the scholarship examination results and share the students’ merit list with the respective District Education Officers (DEOs). Later, the DEO will verify the accuracy of the data before preparing the final merit list of the students and issue the award memos to the selected students.

Each student who makes it to the final merit list and get the award memo from their respective DEO will be awarded Rs 250 per month for 24 months which they can use to cover school fees, purchase books, and meet other educational expenses of Classes 9 and 10. The scholarship money shall be disbursed to students through electronic transfer to their Bank Accounts.
