BSE Odisha Invites Applications for OTET 2026, Exam Scheduled on May 29

Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Monday released an official notification inviting applications for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026.

OTET is a mandatory eligibility examination for candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary and upper primary schools across the state. Both fresh candidates and in-service teachers are eligible to apply through the online mode.

As per the notification, the online application process will commence on March 26, 2026, and will remain open until midnight of April 9, 2026. Candidates are required to complete the submission of application forms and payment of fees by 11:45 PM on the last date.

The OTET 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on May 29, 2026. The test will be conducted in two sessions, with Paper-I scheduled from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and Paper-II from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Admit cards for the examination will be available for download from May 15, 2026, on the official website.
