Blood Donation Camp Held in Bhubaneswar on Utkal Divas

Bhubaneswar: Emphasizing the message that blood donation is the noblest form of donation, a blood donation camp was organized at the Red Cross Bhavan in Bhubaneswar on the occasion of Utkal Divas. The initiative was undertaken by Yuva Shakti Trust with the aim of contributing towards a healthy Odisha.

Yuva Shakti Trust, a socially responsible organization committed to public welfare, organized the camp as part of its efforts to fulfill its social duties. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from youths, students, intellectuals, journalists, and members of the film fraternity, making the camp a success.

The camp was inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. Ashok Mahapatra, Dr. Debashish Sahu, and Yuva Shakti Trust President Amit Mallik.

Several prominent personalities, including Bhubaneswar North MLA Sushant Kumar Rout, actor Babushan Mohanty, Dr. Amrita Pattanayak, ace sprinter Dutee Chand, Youth BJD President Chinmay Sahu, Student BJD President Ipsita Sahu, youth leaders Chinmayee Jena and Swagatika Mohanty, women leader Lora Mohapatra, and trustee Ashish Kumar Rout, participated in the camp.

They encouraged people to come forward and donate blood, spreading awareness about its life-saving importance and highlighting it as a noble humanitarian act.
