BJP receives jot in Jharsuguda, District chief Mangal Sahoo quits ahead of Assembly by-poll

Bhubaneswar, May 9(Reporters Today Bureau): BJP’s Jharsuguda district unit chief Mangal Sahoo has quit his post a day after the party named Radharani Panda as party candidate for Brajrajnagar by-poll on May 31.
In his resignation letter sent to BJP state president Samir Kumar Mohanty, Sahoo alleged that the party is rudderless in Jharsuguda and Brajrajnagar constituency and the party workers feel helpless and insecure.
Sahoo, who has been associated with the party for the past 25 years, said that he has been trying hard to strengthen the party in the area.
But, it has become impossible in the past few days to coordinate between junior and senior ‘karyakartas’ that has prompted him to quit his post, he said in the letter.
