BJD Suspends Jajpur Zilla Parisad Vice President Over Anti-Party Activities

The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has suspended Ganeswar Baral, Vice President of Jajpur Zilla Parisad, for his alleged involvement in anti-party activities.
The suspension takes immediate effect.
The party issued the office order on January 16, 2026. Pratap Jena, Vice President of BJD Headquarters, signed the directive on behalf of the party president.

Party sources confirmed that the disciplinary action was taken to maintain organisational discipline and uphold party values. The suspension order bars Baral from participating in any official activities of the BJD until further notice.
