Bhadrak: Patient dies after being crushed in hospital lift

Bhadrak: A female patient died after being crushed in the hospital lift in Bhadrak district Odisha. The tragic incident has taken place at the Bhadrak District Headquarter Hospital.

As per reports, a female patient came to Bhadrak district headquarter hospital with complaint of respiratory and thyroid diseases. The doctor in the outdoor admitted her.

Accordingly, when she was being taken to the female medicine ward in a lift, the lift malfunctioned due to a sensor failure. Accordingly, she got crushed in the door of the lift. Even, she passed away due to the lift malfunction.

Following death of the woman there has been intense discontent in the hospital. A platoon force has been deployed in the hospital premises to control the situation.
