Berhampur: 5 killed as speeding truck rams into 3 bikes

Berhampur: In a tragic incident, a speeding truck rammed into three bikes claiming lives of five people at Haldiapadar overbridge in Berhampur on Saturday afternoon.

As per reports, the ill-fated speeding truck came from the wrong direction and hit three bikes and dragged the bike riders for 200 metres. Following which five people died on the spot. The driver fled the scene immediately after the incident.

On receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot and shifted them to MKCG Medical and Hospital in Berhampur.

Later, police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.
