Balanga victim girl dies while under treatment

Bhubaneswar: The victim girl who had sustained burn injury in Balanga area of Puri district in Odisha and later admitted to hospital has reportedly been succumbed to the burn injury today in Delhi.
Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha Pravati Parida wrote about the sad demise of the victim girl in an X message today. She wrote that despite all measures the girl could not be saved.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed grief over the incident and condoled her sad demise.
It is to be noted that the girl had been attempted to kill by miscreants on July 19 in the Bayabar village. She passed away today while under treatment at Delhi AIIMS.
It is to be noted that the said girl was brutally attacked by miscreants. The attackers set her on fire after pouring an inflammable substance on her, leaving her with 75% burn injuries.
As per reports, the miscreants took her to the banks of Bhargavi River near Bayabar village, and set her ablaze. A local resident, Dukshishyam Senapati, heroically rescued the girl by dousing the flames and providing her with clothes and water.
Despite efforts to save her, including being airlifted to AIIMS Delhi for advanced treatment, the girl tragically succumbed to her injuries today.
