Bal Thackeray’s biopic which is titled as Thackeray is in the news right now as the first trailer of the movie is out. The Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer is based on the life of Bal Thackeray aka Balasaheb Thackeray (Founder of the political party, Shiv Sena). He was not only controversial but also influential and we have to say that Nawazuddin totally nailed the persona of Bal Thackeray.

Talking about the trailer, it follows the life of Bal Thackeray and his rise in the political circuit.  Nawazuddin has done many real-life characters in a span of just few years. For the unversed, he earlier played Dashrath Manjhi in Manjhi – The Mountain Man. Later, he did a role of Saadat Hasan Manto in Manto, and now, Balasaheb Thackeray in Thackeray.
