Anu Garg Reviews Progress of Rengali Irrigation Project with JICA Team

Bhubaneswar: Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary of the Water Resources Department, Anu Garg, held a review meeting with the JICA Review Mission to assess the progress of the Rengali Irrigation Project, Phase-II, which is being implemented with JICA assistance.

During the meeting, Garg examined the current status of various works under the project and underscored the need to expedite both expenditure and physical progress. She also stressed on maintaining adequate construction safety measures to ensure the protection of workers and stakeholders.

The meeting was also attended by the OSD-cum-EIC, Water Resources, and the Chief Engineer, JICA, who played a key role in facilitating the discussions.
