Angul: Driver killed, six injured as Truck hits Bolero

Angul: In a tragic incident, driver was killed and six others sustained critical injuries near Jarapada in Angul district on Sunday.

The deceased identity is yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, Bolero was enroute Sambalpur for Maa Samleshwari darshan from Jagatsinghpur, when the speeding truck hit Bolero car in Angul. Following which, the driver died on the spot and six others sustained injuries.

On being informed, the police rushed to the spot and immediately rescued the injured persons and admitted them to Angul District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for medical treatment.

Later, the police reached the accident site and have launched a probe into the incident.
