Actress Shilpa Shetty Visits Srimandir

Puri: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty visited Puri in Odisha today with her family to seek the blessings of Lord Jagannath. The actress arrived at the Shree Jagannath Temple under tight security arrangements.

Upon reaching the Singhadwara (Lion’s Gate) of the Srimandira, she was warmly received by her family’s panda (traditional priest). She then visited the temple along with her family members and had darshan of the deities. After completing the darshan of Mahaprabhu, she offered prayers and sought divine blessings.

Later, after coming out of the temple she talked to press and said that she has completed darshan of one of the four dhams by visiting Srimandira.

The Shree Mandir Administration had confirmed her visit and made the necessary arrangements for a smooth darshan.
