Accident in Sundargarh, 1 dead & 30 critical

Bonai: In a tragic incident, there has been an accident in Sundargarh district of Odisha. In the accident as many as 30 have been critically injured and 1 person has died.

According to reports, the accident took place at Kelo square under Bonai Police Station jurisdiction in Sundargarh District. A pickup vehicle lost control and hit a tree. One person has died and more than 30 others have been critically injured.

It is worth mentioning here that 30 to 40 youths and women from Kendrikala village were going to the forest department to plant saplings in a pickup vehicle when the vehicle lost control and hit a tree.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be confirmed. The police has reached the scene and is investigating further into the matter.

As a result, all the passengers in the vehicle were critically injured, while one has died. The critically injured have been rescued and taken to Bonai Medical Hospital. The  injured will be referred to Rourkela for further treatment if required.
