Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar gets engaged to Saaniya Chandok in private ceremony

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, has apparently got engaged to Saaniya Chandok, the daughter of well known Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai. The private ceremony was attended by close family and friends. None of the Tendulkar or Ghai family has made any official announcement about the engagement.

Arjun is a promising left arm fast bowling all rounder who plays for Goa in domestic cricket and has played for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. His journey in cricket has been with Mumbai during the domestic season of 2020/21, and he later signed with Goa in 2022. In 17 First Class, Arjun has taken 37 wickets at 33.51 and has scored 532 runs at 23.13, with a century on his first class debut in the Ranji Trophy for Goa against Rajasthan.

Arjun’s fiancée, Saaniya Chandok, comes from one of Mumbai’s most powerful business clans. Saaniya’s family owns the InterContinental hotel and Brooklyn Creamery ice cream. Saaniya is not much active on social media, but it is known that she is the founder of pet skincare company Mr. Paws and is a WVS certified Veterinary Technician. She has 805 followers on Instagram, among whom are Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara and son Arjun.

Interestingly, Sachin Tendulkar also wedded young. He asked Anjali’s mother to marry her daughter when he was 19 but only got married when he was 22. Arjun appears to be taking the same route, and everybody is waiting with bated breath for more updates on the couple. Till now, there’s no official word on the wedding date. In spite of there being no official word, fans are posting congratulatory messages to Saaniya on social media sites.
