Woman strangles husband to death in Sundargarh

Sundargarh: In a shocking incident, a woman has strangled her husband to death. The murder took place in Hariom Colony under the jurisdiction of the Sundargarh Town police station.
The woman is being interrogated by the police, said latest reports. According to information, there was a fight between the man and his wife over a domestic dispute. The fight escalated to such an extent that the woman strangled her husband to death.
After the murder, the wife took the dead body of her husband to the medical facility herself. Seeing such a case in the hospital, the medical staff immediately informed the police.
The wife identified as Urmila Kerketa, is being interrogated by the police. Further detailed reports awaited in this regard.
Recently on August 11, a man has reportedly killed his wife in Mohana of Gajapati district in Odisha. Reports say that the man has hacked his wife to death.
According to reports, the suspected cause of the murder is family dispute. The murder was brutal and it took place in Kunkuni-Baliasahi village of Mohana police station. The deceased has been identified as Reshma Nayak. The accused husband Ananta Bagasingh has been detained at the police station and is being questioned by the polikce.
Last night, the man and his wife had visited Mohana Bazaar. They returned to Kunkuni village at around 10 pm. After this, there was an argument between the two about some reason.
In a fit of rage, the husband Ananta slashed his wife Reshma’s neck and face with a knife. The family members immediately rushed her to Mohana Hospital late at night. The doctor declared her brought dead there.
