Truck Crushes Bike: 1 Killed, 2 Critical

Bhubaneswar: In a tragic accident, a man was killed while his wife and 2 year old son sustained critical injury in Bhubaneswar of Odisha a little ago today. The accident took place near Gangapada chhakka on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

As per reports, the man, his wife and 2 year old son were travelling on a bike. They were on their way to Khordha from Bhubaneswar. When the family was near Gangapada chhaka, a speeding truck rammed the bike.

As a result, the husband who was riding the bike, died on the spot while the wife and two-year-old son turned critical.

The locals rescued the critically injured mother and child and sent them to a nearby medical facility. However, as their condition deteriorated, they were shifted to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.

After getting information police personnel from the Info Valley police station of Jatni have reached the spot and initiated investigation.

As per latest reports, the driver of the truck has been detained by Jatani Info Valley Police.
