Tamannaah Bhatia opens up about wedding rumours with Pak cricketer Abdul Razzaq

Tamannaah Bhatia recently spoke out about the ridiculous marriage speculations with Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq in 2020. She thought the entire ordeal was embarrassing and funny, remembering a random bumping into each other at a jewelry store launch that probably led to the false rumors. “Mazaak mazaak mein Abdul Razzaq! The Internet is an amusing place. I was married to Abdul Razzaq for a while, according to the internet. Sorry sir. Aapke do teen bachche hai (You have 2-3 children). I know nothing about your life, but it was so shameful.”
Tamannaah also spoke about being associated with Virat Kohli, admitting she felt guilty about the rumors as she had only met him once. “I feel so bad because I literally met him only once. I have never met Virat after that.” She spoke of feeling uneasy about media associations that were based on nothing, saying, “It is very awkward when the media links you to someone you have absolutely no connection with.”
Being an actor, Tamannaah feels that it is important to know what the public thinks. “As an actor, it’s important to be aware of what people feel about your work.” She maintains her public image by googling herself every now and then, which helps her understand the audience’s reactions and know about prevailing rumors. “I keep googling myself from time to time.”
Tamannaah shared her desire for her craft to have a deeper purpose. “It has to have some impact and meaning in someone’s life.” She also says that although she can’t do anything about rumors, she’s learnt to accept them with time. “It takes time, but one finally accepts that there’s nothing one can do about it.”
