Rs 10 lakh fine imposed on Bus : Released after payment of dues

Cuttack: The private bus that had been fined Rs 10 lakh in Cuttack yesterday has reportedly been released after payment of the dues.

It is to be noted that the Road Transport Office in Cuttack fined a hefty amount to the tune of approximately Rs 10 lakh to a private bus on Thursday.

The fine was levied for noncompliance of permit, insurance and penalty among others.

As per reports, Cuttack RTO slapped the hefty fine to the bus for different discrepancies including Rs 5000 for lacking fitness, pollution 10 thousand permit 10 thousand insurance 2 thousand tax 3 lakh 7 thousand 664 penalty 6 lakh 85 thousand 92 rupees total fine 10 lakh 19 thousand 756 rupees.

However, as per latest reports, it has been learnt that after payment of the dues the said bus has been released.
