Jual Oram to Step Down From Contesting Elections in the Future

Sambalpur: In a major political scenario in Odisha, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram said that he will not contest in elections in the future.
Minister Jual Oram who is currently in Sambalpur to attend the Nijukti Mela informed about his political plan in the future.
Speaking to the media personnel today, he said, “I will not contest elections again. I will make way for the younger generation. Now, I will work for the strengthening of the organisation.”
He further added, “If party nominates me to Rajya Sabha, I will happily go. If not I will work for the welfare of the party.”
It is worth mentioning here that he has been elected as MP for eight times and has been won the elections for the Member of the Legislative Assembly for two times.
He had during the general elections 2024 announced that he will not contest for the elections in the future.
