X-ray Technician Dies by Suicide at Capital Hospital

Bhubaneswar: A 45-year-old X-ray technician, identified as Prabhat Mohanty, was found dead by suicide at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday evening.

According to sources, Mohanty was discovered hanging inside the X-ray room around 7 PM. Hospital staff immediately attempted to rescue him and rushed him to the casualty ward, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Following the incident, a case of unnatural death has been registered at Capital Police Station. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding his death, though the exact reason remains unknown.
