Dacoit Gang Busted in Silver City

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate police on Thursday night foiled a dacoity attempt and arrested four persons in Malgodown area of Cuttack, said reliable reports.

Acting on a tip-off, the Commissionerate police conducted a raid at Malgown area here. According to sources, the gang were planning to execute robberies in the capital city.

Worth mentioning, ahead of Durga Puja celebrations in the twin cities, the Commissionerate Police has pulled up its socks to ensure safety and security of the devotees during the festive period.
